Sandbridge Dunes Condominiums

Roof construction notice Owners/Managing Agents

SBD Condominiums is providing this notice to owners and managing agents of the upcoming construction project (roof replacement) that will begin mobilizing on 25 Oct. and weather permitting be complete in 6 weeks. It is your responsibility to notify all tenants/visitors/contractors etc.  The safety of all residents begins with being observant and following some rules.

The pool area will be closed including exterior shower area. The Sandbridge Rd. entrance/garage exit will be closed. North exterior parking will be closed. Parking at the market/city lot should be utilized if any problems.

REAR ENTRANCE WILL BE MAIN ENTRANCE DURING CONSTRUCTION IF THERE IS A LIFT BEING USED TO LIFT MATERIALS AT THE ENTRANCE GATE  (it will only be temporary).

Some parking areas will be vacant at NW exterior rear but due to the possibility of falling debris when roofers are in this vicinity it is not recommended (be observant).

TRASH AREA (Again be observant when crossing from building to dumpsters).

North garage exit gate is the only exit for now but if logistics demand the gate arms will be removed from both rear entrance and exit gates to make travel easier.

USING VACANT SPOTS IN THE GARAGE (Only by requesting permission from the managing agents for tenants) (Only by permission from other owners for our community residents).

Signs will be posted in the elevators to remind all to be safe and observant when travelling exterior of the building (again falling debris).

OUR ROOF INSTALLERS ARE PROFESSIONALS BUT THERE WILL BE SOME MINIMAL DEBRIS THAT BLOWS OFF FROM 5 STORIES.  IT WILL BE EASIER FOR YOU, THE PERSON ON THE GROUND, TO HEAR AND SEE WHERE THEY ARE WORKING FOR THEY ARE FOCUSING ON WORKING AT A VERY ELEVATED WORKING ENVIRONMENT.  IF POSSIBLE, AVOID BEING IN THE SAME VICINITY BELOW THEM.
